Silk, cotton and bamboo are woven entirely by hand in 12 stages by hereditary craftsmen in Uzbekistan. This distinguishes OYNA adras from analogues created on mass factory looms.
Since the fabric is handcrafted, it may have some natural variations upon closer inspection, including:
- Slight differences in color shades
- Occasional compacted threads that may resemble hooks (as the artisans manually wrap each knot of thread)
Care instructions
Only dry cleaning is allowed.
The threads are hand-dyed using natural dyes, so it’s crucial to avoid contact with rain, seawater, perfumes, and other substances, as these may cause the dye to leave a mark.
As our fabrics and chapans are carefully handcrafted, we recommend taking extra care when cleaning and maintaining your chapan to preserve its beauty.
